I'm Alaina, Owner and Lead Designer of Flora MiLou! I'm so glad you're here. I am a wife, a former kindergarten teacher, and enjoy any opportunity to use my hands and create. What began as a passion for teaching children slowly uncovered my true calling - a passion for connecting and celebrating women. June 18th, 2022 was a monumental day - the day I married my better half and discovered a new, profound appreciation for flowers. The moment I saw my bouquet, I felt like a true bride. I decided to leave my career in education to pursue floral design. Flora MiLou was founded in October of 2022 on what I call, our Pillars of Three C's - Creativity, Connection, and Celebration. Our mission is to share flowers as awareness to the gift of life, empowering those we serve to seek peace, joy, and love through our floral designs.
Hi! I'm Susie
I am a Human Resource Professional by day and Flora MiLou's Administrative Assistant by night. I am pretty much Alaina's right hand gal, whether it be onboarding new clients, assisting, installs, or communicating with our clients. I truly love being a small part of women's special days; this team inspires me to use my creativity in vast settings and encourages me to do more for others. When I'm not a busy worker bee, you can find me reading a good book, working out, cooking, or exploring St. Louis!
Well hello..
I'm Abby! I attend SLU University and have always worked with flowers in some capacity. From designing with my mom for our family celebrations to working with Flora MiLou since Fall 2023, I whole heartedly love the art of floral design. Aside from pursuing my degree in physical therapy and floral design, I'm definitely a Swiftie and love my dogs more than anything! I grew up in a small town in Michigan but St. Louis has become a new home away from home!
